About Us

Bijan is passionate about international recruiting. With a family history shaped by migration and his experience as part of an international workforce of a large corporate in London and Frankfurt, he has experienced firsthand the value that international hiring can have for both employers and employees.

Bijan has 7 years of quantitative experience in Morgan Stanley’s capital market business. He leads our product & tech development including our proprietary assessment engine. Bijan graduated from University of St. Gallen and University of Mannheim, where he met Florian.

Outside of work, Bijan likes playing football and chess.

Florian spent the last 5 years analysing the market for recruiting solutions and could not find a solution which helps German corporates to sustainably access and qualify international talent.

Florian was previously responsible for the HR investments at Yttrium, a European technology fund. Before that, he worked for several years in the M&A team at Deutsche Bank. He leads our business development including sales & marketing. Florian graduated from University St. Gallen and from University of Mannheim, where he met Bijan.

Outside of work, Florian has a passion for football, fitness, and food.

Michael joined heidi in February 2025, bringing a strong background in finance, banking, and customer experience. As Regional Director for South America, he plays a key role in expanding heidi’s presence in the region, building strategic partnerships, and driving international recruitment efforts.

Michael is currently pursuing a master's degree in Digital Business Modeling and Entrepreneurship at the Hochschule der Bayerischen Wirtschaft in Munich. Before joining heidi, Michael worked in corporate banking at Banco de Crédito de Bolivia, where he developed expertise in financial analysis, client relations, and high-level business strategy.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys working out, playing guitar, and traveling with friends.  

Alex joined heidi in November 2024. By combining technical background and commercial understanding, he supports us in all product-related areas.

Alex is currently completing his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, with a specialization in global production management. Alex is an active member in the Karlsruhe startup community through his involvement with various student associations and events, and he has recently spent a year abroad in the USA.

In his free time Alex can be found in the gym, at the track, or getting lost somewhere in the mountains.

Jan joined heidi in October 2024. He supports us in all areas of business - from operations to strategy.

Jan previously gained experience in a SaaS start-up and a management consultancy. Jan is completing a Master's degree at the University of Mannheim, specialising in Management and Operations, and has spent a semester abroad in South Africa.

Outside of work, Jan enjoys watching or playing football or hanging out in Cafés.

Abdur joined heidi in August 2024 as our first software developer. He currently support the team across a variety of areas, including front-end development and web-design.

Abdur was the top graduate in his Bachelor’s in Computer Science degree from Pakistan. Currently, he is pursuing his Master’s in High Integrity Systems at Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. He has represented several companies as a skilled software engineer, gaining diverse professional experience.

In his free time, Abdur enjoys playing cricket, staying active, exploring different cuisines, and combining his love for new experiences with his passion for sports, health, and food.

Michael joined in October 2024, supporting the team across a wide range of sales & business development tasks.

Michael has gained extensive experience from roles in the CFO Office, Financial Services, and Investment Banking. Michael is pursuing a bachelor’s degree at Frankfurt School of Finance & Management, specializing in International Management, and has studied abroad in both Australia and France. 

Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling with friends and visits the gym (almost) daily.
